Keith Urban Sings Happy Birthday to Toni from Peoria, IL
On his stop at the KFC Yum! Center on October 20, 2018 in Louisville, KY during the Graffiti U Tour, Keith Urban took a few minutes to bring Toni from Peoria, IL on stage and sing Happy Birthday to her. If you happen to know her, please share this video with her. I'm sure it would bring her a great deal of joy! (The show was excellent, by the way.)

Tater's Famous 3 Point Shot

For anyone that knows me, I am as non-atheletic as they come. I played in a fundraiser basketball game against the Harlem Wizards on April 8, 2013. That's me in the white t-shirt and red & black short. That is the ONLY 3 pointer I've ever made in my life!

If you ever wondered what the fire alarm in your hotel sounded like, now you know. Fortunately, this one was a false alarm, caused by someone smoking too close to an air intake vent outside the building.

On July 9, 1995, at the Worldwide KISS Konvention in Nashville, TN I asked Gene & Paul why they fired Vinnie Vincent. Kinda funny, kinda sad. EDIT: Comments have been turned off because some of you are anti-Semitic pieces of shit.

What sort of audience is that?!! They don't move a single finger when listening to this great musician.
The best version thank you Ron👍🤩
I was their drop right in front of my truck 18 wheeler
So sorry to hear of his passing. A immeasurable loss to sure. But ,wow, does he come off like an arrogant prick here! I'm not-at-all surprised to hear his relationship with his brother was strained.
The sound at 0:07 isn't Bob talking yet, it's a different crying baby
That's pretty funny.
Is this Evansville, IN.?
Yep!
excellent
Sorry but I’ll always take the real ACE!!!
Bob is a better player than Ace. That is why he was a hired gun for the session work.
Hmmmm! Till today, I had no idea Bob Kulick existed, I remember Bruce did a few albums with KISS as the guitarist who came in to "replace" Ace. Still, first time i have heard this "Sweet Victory" song it has been around. I hear some similar Paul Stanley vocals, but to be honest with everyone, I'm not a big fan of the way the song is played. As for Ace, keep rockin buddy, to all us die hard KISS fans, you will always be the great ACE FREHLEY! No one will ever take your place, you are a legend, and you know it!
That day is my birthday
That's funny I thought Ace was a very good guitar player - I love his song writing and guitar solos but I must be wrong !!!!
Say Bob, if you are "better" than Ace why did Paul and Gene pick him instead?
What a voice. Clean and strong.
what a egotistical dick!
I rmember thinking when I first heard it wow Ace is really cooking here. nad it turned out to be Bob
I guess Bob never heard 100,000 Years off the first album nor anyone else who bashes Ace on this comment thread. Fucking God Like playing!!! Yes, I went there!
+clintbronson5 not a hard solo to play...
+88kwthomas It's very hard to play perfectly like Ace did
what other stuff did Bob play on? I know they are talking about aliveII side 4 here, but I heard a rumor he did most of the guitar work on Unmasked as well?
Paul did most of the guitar work on Unmasked. Played every solo on his Unmasked songs, also half of the Elder solos.
Bob is obviously a little bitter after all these years......probably bitter that Bruce is better than him also?
Very cool (and good audio quality).
Thanks. I still have that camera but I only use it for live streaming now. lol
NIce
WE WANT RON KEEL ON THAT METAL SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE JOIN US facebook.com/groups/1483964538510751/
Am I the only one getting tired of this "KISS was only KISS because of Ace" crap? The guy couldn't handle the success and it has almost killed him several times. What does he do? Writes an unapologetic autobiography called "No Regrets" and laughs off all his problems. And you guys want to say BOB is cocky? Hey, Bob's not as successful, but he's still in good health. Ace looks like the guy at my local Salvation Army.
I'll take Ace over douchebag bob anyday what a arrogant jealous clown !! What have u done with your life?
Bob is a good guitarist, there is no doubt about that. What everyone here doesn't understand is the real reason Ace was chosen over Bob was because of the simple fact that BOB IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN BALD! He would not ever fit in with Kiss. Ace smoked him at the audition AND had a head full of hair! And Still does. Kiss had an image they were creating and Ace was the missing piece of the puzzle. Kiss never would have had the success they had if some bald dude had been on stage. They knew it wouldn't work with Bob. I'm sure Bob is a great guy but he should know that by now.
Being bald shouldn't have been a consideration. Talk about a cool look with the makeup! They wouldn't take him because of that? Ok. I GUESS they didn't have wigs in the 70's? Lol. Hey, I like Ace well enough. He had good contributions, but he let it all slip away. Just wonder what it would've been like with Bob instead. MAYBE original lineup would've never disbanded.
Gene was wearing wigs and using fake hair for decades so I'm not sure being bald was the deal breaker. Maybe the fact that they didn't want another little guy with a Napoleon complex in the band was the ultimate decider?
+jime6688 a more plausible reason I've heard (from Bob himself) was that Bob was well known as a session guitarist by then. He'd been a member of a few bands, played with Diana Ross, played on Paul's 1978 solo album, etc... a lot of musicians, studio people and Kiss fanatics knew who he was: name, face, everything. When KISS replaced Ace they were still doing the makeup/secret identity thing. Nobody knew who Eric Carr was, for example, and no fans knew what Gene or Paul looked like without makeup. Ace even continued to hide his face after leaving Kiss for awhile. Bob would've been a massive departure from the mysterious imagery of Kiss if he'd been hired when Vinnie was.
Tick Bryan
Tick Bryan Bob could've simply worn a wig simple as that
You killed it ron ..nice job
he did a great version of a timeless classic
Bob is a coat hanger
If its the best he ever played why are all those songs mediocre and never played live? Everyone knows out of all those bonus songs on Alive 2 Ace's Rocket Ride was the best. His Sweet pain solo also blows Bob's out of the fucking water. Fuck off Bob, obviously there was a day Ace played better then you and it was the day he was picked over you to be in KISS you bitter old fuck.
KISS actually played All American Man in 2007, but it was alongside with Tommy Thayer who tried to imitate Bob solo
Ron Keel is a fantastic musician/artist/singer. His performance here is really, really good. As to be expected. Of course, as "fans" usually are, the members of this crowd don't have a clue. Sitting around like a bunch of lame-ass wankers. What struck me especially about Ron's performance was his terrific guitar playing. Sure, it's a simple tune, but his playing is tight, clean (as all hell) and highly "swinging". Good job, Ron! For what it's worth, I still buy your CDs (that recent Keel comeback is KILLER).
***** Totally agree. True KISS fans know who he is. It was KISS that I found out about KEEL. It is sad that he did not get at least an applause when he got on stage.
Not going to knock Bob's abilty, but boy does he sound jealous after all these years.
You wish you had a 1/14 talent that ace had just in one finger ace has you bald little man.
Like "New York Groove"? Check out my video of "New York Groove" with actual footage of New York City!
This is great! I had the pleasure of seeing Bob Kulick during Paul Stanley's (first) solo tour, and he was amazing! At the time, I kept thinking, "who is this bald guitar wonder"?! I think it was in Long Island, NY at some club (My Father's Place?). This was many years ago, and I can't quite remember now, since the Crestor statin i''m on has decimated my memory and thought process! That said, Ace WAS KISS! When Ace was 'on' (and I don't mean substances), he was an amazing rock player! Distinctive with a biting tone! Frehley inspired millions to pick up an axe, just like the greats Page, Gilmour, Lifeson, etc.!
ACE had the chops & attitude but his alcoholism would often get the better of him. BOB is a fine player but KISS just wouldn't be KISS without Ace.
Ace is still light years better
on what planet? - surely not Earth.
Rock the Stage NYC Hi Bob, glad to hear from you
It's about swagger and style and chemistry come on bob they chosen Ace because he was complete package...
bruce makes frehley look like a subway musician though.
Bob is full of himself. though I liked him as Paul's guitar player during his 1989 solo tour.
Hey Bruce....go f***k yourself
Who is Bob anyways??
Bruce's Brother
Stop bitchin about Bob. Ace was unreliable and inconsistent otherwise he would have played on Kiss Alive 2 and wouldn't have been replaced so many times on other albums. GET REAL
I had read somewhere that he would've been with KISS as original member instead of Ace if he'd only had hair. What a stupid thing.
so not playing on terrible studio tracks stuck into a Live album is bad? Destroyer he didn't play some because Bob Ezrin found he wasn't capable. Although none of these songs ever received popularity. Most good KISS songs/albums featured Ace's playing (I say most because Killers is great IMO, and so is Creatures, but that doesn't really count since Ace technically wasn't in the band)
Bob always sounds so bitter that he's not Ace.
He's talking about the studio tracks on "Alive II." The last 5 tracks on the album were brand new studio recordings, Bob Kulick played on "All American Man," "Rockin' In the U.S.A.," and "Larger Than Life." Ace plays on "Rocket Ride," which is his song, and only Paul Stanley plays on "Anyway You Want It." On an unrelated note, "Made in Japan" is quite a classic indeed.
Agreed!
The best version of this song EVER!!!!!!
wylde40 Agreed !!!
Hang on a minute... are they talking about the guitar on a "Live Album"... what's he doing recording a live guitar in the studio anyway? A live album... is supposed to be a "live album". Deep Purple didn't do any overdubs on their classic live album 'Made in Japan'... it was warts and all, as it was on stage.... the way a true live album should be... the give away word is... "LIVE".
I cant believe no one sang along with the chorus....that would of been quite powerful. Very interesting song for Ron to pick....but...wow...he nails it.
classic...if bob only had hair he'd been a good comedian in the band...maybe not as funny as Ace but certainly not as self destructive as Ace was/is...
What's your claim to fame Jackass? Employee of the month at McDonalds?
BLAH BLAH BLAH...... WHATEVER.....
I was wondering why Ace sounded so great on the Alive 2 stuff. Now we know. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AWK!
He's just mad because they picked Ace and not him at the audition in '73 haha
